Socioeconomic inequalities in menstrual hygiene is not just a global issue but a local one.
​
Goal: Create awareness about period poverty and raise $1000 to donate 100 period kits to school-aged girls in our local communities that are in need of hygiene products.
Role: Organizer and Fundraiser, Period Palooza
Outcome:

Prepared and donated 110 period kits to United Way Central Massachusetts

Every child has a right to a permanent, loving family of his or her very own. Alliance for Children Foundation is a local adoption agency committed to fulfilling this need.

Goal: Raise money to donate to Alliance for Children

Role: Vendor, Andrews and McGlynn Winter Market

Outcome:

Sold handmade fiber art crafts and donated 100% of the proceeds to Alliance for Children.
